Coco Carriers Rental Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Coco Carriers Rental Program. Our rental service allows you to experience the comfort and craftsmanship of Coco Carriers before committing to purchase. Please review the terms below carefully before placing your rental order. By renting from Coco Carriers, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Rental Periods

Coco Carriers offers flexible rental durations to suit your needs:

• 1 Week (7 days)
  
• 2 Weeks (14 days)
  
• 3 Weeks (21 days)
  
• 1 Month (30 days)
  

Your rental period begins on the day your carrier is delivered, as shown in your shipment tracking. You may request to extend your rental at any time prior to your end date (subject to availability). Extensions are billed at the standard weekly rate of $35 per week.

2. Rental Fees & Deposits

• Each rental includes a rental fee (based on duration) and a refundable security deposit of $50.
  
• The deposit will be fully refunded once the carrier is returned on time and in good condition.
  
• The rental fee covers cleaning, sanitation, and normal wear-and-tear during the rental period.
  
• Payment for both the rental fee and deposit is required at checkout.
  

If you decide to purchase a new Coco Carrier within 7 days of your rental return, your rental fee will be applied as a credit toward your new carrier purchase. The deposit will be refunded as usual.

3. Shipping & Returns

• Each rental order includes a prepaid return shipping label.
  
• Please ship your carrier back within 2 days of your rental end date using the original box or packaging.
  
• Late returns without prior extension will be charged a $10/day late fee, deducted from the deposit.
  
• If the carrier is not returned within 10 days after your end date, the carrier will be considered purchased at full retail value, and your deposit will be applied toward that balance.
  

4. Condition & Care

All Coco Carriers are cleaned, sanitized, and inspected before each rental.

We kindly ask that you:

• Avoid exposing the carrier to pet hair, smoke, or excessive dirt.
  
• Do not machine wash or bleach the carrier.
  
• Spot clean with mild soap and water if needed.
  
• Return all accessories (buckles, hoods, storage bags) included with your rental.
  

Upon return, each carrier is inspected for cleanliness and condition.

• Normal wear is expected and acceptable.
  
• Significant damage, stains, or missing parts may result in a partial or full deduction from your deposit to cover replacement or repair costs.
  

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• Orders may be cancelled before shipment for a full refund.
  
• Once shipped, the rental fee becomes non-refundable, though the deposit remains refundable upon return.
  

6. Extensions

Need more time? You can extend your rental (subject to availability) by purchasing an additional rental week through our website or by emailing hello@cococarriers.com prior to your original return date.

7. Purchase Option

If you fall in love with your Coco Carrier (and we think you might), you may apply your rental fee toward the purchase of any new carrier within 7 days of your rental return.

8. Liability & Use

By renting a Coco Carrier, you agree to:

• Use the carrier only as intended and follow our provided safety and fitting guide.
  
• Assume full responsibility for safe and appropriate use of the carrier.
  
  Coco Carriers is not liable for injuries, accidents, or misuse that occur during the rental period.
  

9. Cleaning & Sanitation

Each carrier undergoes a multi-step cleaning process after every rental using baby-safe, fragrance-free detergents. Carriers are dried and inspected according to ASTM and OEKO-TEX standards before reuse. Your rental will arrive freshly cleaned and ready to wear.
